About This Gig

This is a remote position. We are seeking a highly specialized Life Science Linguist to provide high-quality translation, revision, and editing services for technical, medical, and regulatory documents. As a 1099 contractor, you will work independently on a project-by-project basis to ensure that complex scientific content is accurately rendered into the target language while maintaining strict compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Translation: Convert complex life science documents (e.g., clinical trial protocols, ICFs, dossiers, and medical device manuals) from English (USA) to Romanian with 100% technical accuracy. Review & Revision: Conduct bilingual reviews of translated materials against the source text to ensure no omissions, mistranslations, or terminology errors. Editing & Proofreading: Refine the style, flow, and grammar of target-language content to ensure it is culturally appropriate and meets the "native-level" qualit
