You will work closely with a tenured team of peer underwriters while actively underwriting your own portfolio of accounts – determining strategy, setting terms, managing exposures, and making sound decisions within your authority. Equally important, you’ll be a trusted partner to brokers and clients: responsive, knowledgeable, and focused on long-term relationships that drive retention and new business. Role Responsibilities Underwrite and grow a portfolio of risks within the public entity & non-profit space, including direct, excess and reinsurance accounts. Perform loss and exposure analysis to ensure risks are within core appetite and underwriting guidelines.
