The MEP Estimator will develop, create and prepare MEP cost estimates for a diverse set of projects in the early stages of development and continue to support the project team with updated cost information throughout the Pre-construction phase of the projects. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Champions “The Layton Way” by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers. Ensures that “Constructing with Integrity” is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work. Review plans and MEP drawings. Prepare quantity take-offs on assigned projects. Ensure a complete review of plans and drawings. Identify items that have been omitted and ensure appropriate accounting in overall estimate package. Develop and maintain effective working relationships. Solicit subcontractor bids for assigned projects totaling $50 - $150 million per year. Obtain 3-5 bids for each trade and supplier group. Review and analyze bids for conformance to
