We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Junior Underwriter to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the underwriting process by evaluating risk, reviewing applications, gathering and analyzing information, and assisting in the development of coverage recommendations. The ideal candidate is analytical, customer focused, and eager to build a career in the insurance industry. Your Impact: Drive profitable portfolio performance by managing a dedicated book of renewal business, conducting comprehensive underwriting reviews approximately 90 days prior to expiration through detailed analysis of applications, prior policies, endorsements, loss history, online presence, and other risk indicators, while proactively escalating accounts that fall outside program guidelines. Protect underwriting integrity and portfolio quality by evaluating risks against established appetite and authority thresholds, making sound renewal decisions, and ensuring all required statutory notice
