CAPPS HR/Payroll Senior PeopleSoft Functional Analyst
This is a remote position. The CAPPS HR/Payroll Senior PeopleSoft Functional Analyst will support the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) on the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) Program. This role provides highly advanced, senior-level consultative services and functional assistance in support of the CAPPS HR/Payroll tower, serving a large network of Texas state agencies. The analyst serves as first-line Level 2 support for complex, high-profile agencies with statutory service requirements and functions as a subject matter expert across PeopleSoft HCM modules including HR, Payroll, Time and Labor, Commitment Accounting, and Recruit. The position operates under minimal supervision, requiring independent judgment, cross-functional collaboration with agency personnel, managed services vendors, and CPA IT teams, and adherence to established change-control and ITIL-based processes.
